Amazon Prime Day usually happens in middle of July but the actual date can vary depending on when Amazon think it's a good idea to release it. A leaked PR email recently let us know they expect Prime Day to be held on 15th July but nothing official has been announced by Amazon just yet Amazon have now confirmed Prime Day is being held on July 15th 2019!. How does Amazon Prime Day work?

Once a year Amazon hosts Prime Day for their Prime Members (a subscription service to Amazon that offers certain benefits). The sale usually lasts 24-48 hours long and includes hundreds of thousands of products having a discount. These sales usually come in waves, so not all sales will be available right away. There is usually a limited quantity on some items too, especially sort after products like gaming consoles, games and computers. You'll be able to see a preview of all the Prime Day deals on Amazon's site, as they usually list all upcoming products for their users, which means you don't need to wait around all day- just come back at a specific time to try and snag the deal.

You can buy as many items as you want. Being a Prime Member means you also get the benefit of free shipping, so your new purchases don't have the extra shipping costs associate with them.

Are the deals worth it? Well that's up to you to decide. The items that Prime Day usually puts up for sale are ones we usually see in other sales.
