MapleStory Training Guide Reboot
MapleStory is all about leveling and this training guide for Reboot worlds will show you what the best maps are to get the best experience points and levels. MapleStory has introduced many new mechanics to the game since it first released and it's now more important than ever to be leveling all classes available to earn Link Skills and powerful bonuses from the Legion system. Luckily, the MapleStory grind has gotten considerably easier over the years, and with this guide you can level a character to 200 within a couple of days.
Monitors for Rocket League
This guide is for Reboot worlds on MapleStory. Reboot Worlds have different rates compared to normal worlds, including monsters that have higher HP and give higher amounts of experience. This means maps you would normally train on in normal worlds won't be as effiecient as when training on them in Reboot worlds (as the monsters will be slower to kill and that means less EXP!). You can still use this guide for normal worlds, but you can probably skip many areas since the monster's will be a lot weaker to kill.
Before we begin the training guide, let's look at some of the ways you can increase your leveling experience.
Recommended Items
These items will help you with leveling up your MapleStory characters. They are not required, and some are harder to obtain than others. Some you won't be able to obtain until you have at least one character that is level 100+. But if you can get your hands on them, it can make leveling a lot easier.
Hyper Teleport Rock - Buy from the CashShop for 5,200,000 mesos for 1 Day usage. Allows you to quickly teleport to any map, making switching training maps a lot faster.
Monster Park Potions - These potions will provide strong buffs to your character for 30 minutes. They can only be obtained from doing the Daily Monster Park game (Level 100+). The potions include Extreme Green Potion (+1 attack speed), Extreme Red Potion (+30 Weapon attack & +2000 HP), Extreme Blue Potion (+30 Magic Attack) and Extreme Gold Potion (+10% EXP).
New Leaf City Potions - These give you attack buff potions; Warrior Elixir (+12 Weapon Attack) and Wizard Elixir (+20 Magic Attack). They can be purchased from Miki for 5,000 Mesos each and they last 8 minutes each.
Legion EXP Coupon - If you have any Legion Coins you can spend them on Legion EXP coupons which give double EXP for 30 minutes.
- MVP Atmosphere Buff - These items are rewarded to players who spend money on MapleStory (around $300 over 3 months). Luckily, you don't have to be MVP to benefit from these buffs. The MVP buff will give everyone in the map +50% additional EXP and many MVP players will announce in the world chat for everyone to come to a specific map to obtain the buff.
Useful Link Skills
Link Skills are another important part of MapleStory. When your character hits level 70, they have a special skill called a "Link Skill" which they can then give to other characters on the account. A character can have up to 12 Link Skills at any one time. A link skill can have up to three levels, which increase once your character hits level 70,level120 and level 210. Here are some useful ones for training:
- Elven Blessing - Gives 10/15/20% EXP (Requires a Mercedes level 70,120,210).
- Rune Persistance - Increases the duration of Rune's 2x EXP Buff by 30/50/70%. (Requires an Evan level 70,120,210).
- Combo Kill Blessing - Increases the amount of EXP you get from Combo Orbs by 400%/650%/900%. (Requires an Aran level 70,120,210)
There are many other Link Skills that will increase your damage also but the ones above will specifically help with gaining more EXP.
Take Advantage Of
There are many different mechanics to maps in MapleStory that can increase the amount of EXP you earn. Check out our MapleStory EXP Guide for more ways to boost your EXP. Try to take advantage of these:
- Runes - Runes will spawn on your map (level 30+) every 15 minutes. Activating a rune will give you 2x EXP for 2-3 minutes. Using the Evan Link Skill above you can increase this duration.
- Burning Maps - Maps at level 100+ can have a "Burning Map" effect. This can add additional EXP to any monsters you defeat. The map's burning effect slowly decreases as you defeat monsters, so you can switch channels to find a high burning % map.
- Pollo And Fritto & Inferno Wolf - These random events pop up during training and can give you a decent amount of EXP at lower levels. Usually they are not worth doing when your level is less than 100.

Each dungeon will net you between 10-13 levels. These themed dungeons can be started from the Quest Notifier on the left of your screen.

Once you hit Level 200, you'll then gain access to Arcane River, which is where you'll be training until the end of time (well, untill you hit level 275). Arcane River is split up into different areas that all have a prequests you need to complete in order to access them. The area is also level restricted and each map requires you to obtain Arcane Force. Arcane Force is obtained by doing the daily quests in each area; if you don't have enough Arcane Force for the map, your damage will be reduced. If you have 50% more than the Arcane Force required, you'll do 50% more damage (it scales).
